Dr. Efthimios Koveos is a nationally and internationally recognized leader in cosmetic, implant and reconstructive dentistry, with over 25 years of experience. Hand-selected by Dr. Benson, Dr. Koveos is now leading care at Integrated Dental, and we couldn’t be more excited! Renowned for his advanced surgical training, clinical precision, and personalized approach, he has built a distinguished reputation for transforming smiles and improving lives.

Education & Experience
A graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Koveos completed his senior year ranked #1 in his class. He pursued multiple competitive externships, including Boston City Hospital and the U.S. Coast Guard Base in Miami Beach under Dr. James Jan. He was then selected for a rigorous Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Fellowship at the University of Connecticut under Dr. David Shafer. This demanding program included advanced surgical and clinical rotations, giving him a level of surgical expertise rarely seen in general dentistry.
In addition to his OMFS training, Dr. Koveos has completed advanced education in Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Endodontics, Orthodontics – including clear aligner therapy or Invisalign, TMJ Disorders, and Obstructive Sleep Apnea. This broad clinical foundation allows him to develop comprehensive, multidisciplinary treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
Outside of the Office
Fluent in English and Greek, and actively studying Spanish, French, German, and Italian, Dr. Koveos brings cultural fluency and deep empathy to our Sarasota, FL, community. Outside of dentistry, he shares a fulfilling life with his wife, Evie, and their two sons, both collegiate scholar-athletes. As a strong believer in continuous growth, he spends his free time expanding his knowledge, spending time with family, and engaging in meaningful community service. He is an active member in the Sarasota community and will continue to get more involved.
